WELCOME TO GOLD EXPEDITIONS

Alison Thacker runs Gold Expeditions which is dedicated to delivering expeditions for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

It’s not just Gold DofE expeditions which Alison run’s, offering Bronze and Silver Expeditions too, but all expeditions are of a “gold” standard, helping individuals to achieve beyond their aspirations, by operating as part of a team. Gold Expeditions philosophy is to help DofE participants to travel efficiently in the outdoors.

Gold Expeditions focus on working with small groups that want to do their expedition in the true spirit of DofE; plan it from start to finish by themselves. Alison will facilitate this experience from the initial contact through to signing off the expedition on eDofE. Alison and her instructor’s passion and professionalism, for both The DofE Award and the outdoors, ensures that each group will have an expedition which exceeds their expectations.
